Empress Gifty has finally responded to the naysayers who have been slamming her for years whenever she shares images of herself in outrageous attire like a slay queen.
In an interview, the gospel singer maintained that the Bible even encourages people to dress properly, therefore she sees no problem with her current trend of wearing short skirts.
“I have not seen anywhere in the Bible that you have to look dirty before you can worship God; no. I have not seen anywhere,” The musician is reported to have said.
One of the finest ways for her to convey the glory and mercy of God on the Earth, she said, is by looking wonderful.
An additional point of contention was that the Bible never said that people had to be unclean and unkempt in order to worship God properly.
“It is said that all good things come from above which means they come from God so if I am representing this God who created me and gave me this gift then I need to do it well and I don’t see anything wrong with that,” Empress Gifty added.
