Ghanaian gospel singer Empress Gifty was recently made queen of the Igbo Community in Ghana.
His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr.Amb.Chukwudi Ihenetu, Nigerian King of the Igbo Community in Ghana, conferred on her Chief Ugo Nma, to wit, gorgeous eagle, during the event that took place at the Afua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra.
The title embodies qualities such as aspiration, autonomy, strength, dependability, resolve, and professionalism.
During the ceremony, there were also celebrations for the New Yam Festival and the ten-year anniversary of the Igbo throne in Ghana.
After she was crowned, Empress Gifty said in public that she would help Igbo people in Ghana and other places.
