Gospel musician, Ceccy Twum heavily descends on LGBTQ members
Ceccy Twum, a Grammy-winning Ghanaian gospel singer, is the latest public figure to criticize members of the LGTQI+ community.
Homosexuality, according to the gospel diva, is a serious abomination that should not be entertained or tolerated in the country.
Ceccy Twum told Joy FM’s Fiifi Forson that while people commit crimes on a daily basis, there are some transgressions that are classified as abominations, and thus God frowns on them, unlike the rest.
she said;
“Sin is a sin; wrong is wrong. So I, for instance, do not want to talk about it [LGBTQI+]; I do not even want to hear that because wrong is wrong. So we should stop [being like] somebody’s feeling and all that
“If we can turn around, it will help. I pray that God opens our eyes and we have a change of heart if we can make a u-turn, it would be good
Besides that, Hon. Sam George, a member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, has stated unequivocally that the backlash against his anti-LGBTQI bill will not cause him to back down.
