“God’s anger will come on Dampare if he arrests any prophet today.” – Salifu Amoako
It has been requested by the Archbishop of Accra, Elisha Salifu-Amoako, that the Police Administration revoke the order that restricts the declaration of prophets or faces the wrath of God.
His anger stems from the police’s announcement in an official statement that a prophet or religious group might be punished for making unsubstantiated prophecies about the future.
According to the police statement, any prophesy that causes fear and panic would result in the prophet or the religious organization’s head being arrested.
Meanwhile, Dr. Akufo Dampare’s determination to maintain society’s sanity has been commended by Archbishop Salifu Amoako but has warned him to be cautious when it comes to prophetic work.
The man of God also rebuked the way some pastors deliver or administer God’s prophecies and warned them to be more cautious.
