Samuel Abu Jinapor, the Member of Parliament for Damongo, has given a reward of GHC10,000 for anyone with information on the location of the policewoman’s killer in his district.
Bestshowbiz.com reported that Sandra Asiedu, a police constable stationed in Damongo in the Savannah Region, was discovered dead at her house.
Residents claim that a disagreement occurred between the boyfriend and another guy, believed to be a military commander, with whom the former suspect had an affair before the police constable’s murder.
As reported, Sandra was stabbed to death by her lover on August 1, 2021.
Her lover, who traveled from Obuasi to see her, reportedly committed the crime, according to a police report based on her landlord’s testimony.
Saeed Muazu Jibril, Savannah regional minister and chairman of the Savannah Regional Security Council, confirmed that the MP has given a reward of GHC10,000 for anyone with information.
He stated that anybody with information leading to the arrest of the main suspect in the murder of police Constable Sandra Aseidu would be richly rewarded.
DCOP Enoch Adutwum Bediako, the Regional Police Commander, said investigations into the horrific murder of police Constable Sandra Aseidu had already begun.
