Ghana’s LGBTQI group raises $37,000 to buy a new office after police raided old one
According to a deep throat source, the LGBTQI community in Ghana has started a new fund raising campaign in order to purchase a new office.
The party was forced to relocate after being ejected from their rental office in Ashongman, an Accra suburb.
Following the establishment of the LGBTQI community office in Ghana, the topic of the LGBTQI sparked a lot of debate in the Ghanaian media and on the streets.
Many Ghanaians took a firm stand in favor of a complete ban on anything relating to the LGBTQI community, although others believed that their interests should be upheld.
President Akufo-Addo publicly confirmed his stance on the LGBTQI issue on February 27th, 2021, after several people had urged him to do so.
As long as he is president, the president has confirmed categorically that same-sex marriage will not be legalized in Ghana.
We believed the problems had been resolved since the president spoke, but since then, a few Ghanaian celebirities have been using their celebrity to promote the LGBTQI community’s agenda.
According to information collected, the LGBTQI community has launched a new fund raising drive in the hopes of raising $100,000 to not only rent but also buy an ultramodern state-of-the-art office, making them permanent owners of the building.
It has been announced that they have raised $37,113 so far out of the $100,000 they expect to raise.
