“It’s evident that Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Stonbwoy have benefited so much from the system and it’s time to pave space for new performers”- Ghanaian dancehall veteran Aberewa Nana said

In his opinion, Ghanaians are sick of Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie, thus the media must promote new talent.

As reported by Hammer on Pure FM’s PURE DRIVE program, she said:

Things are going to change. This time around, things will have to change because we are all fed up from the Shatta Wale’s to Stonebwoy to the Samini to the Sarkodie. We are tired 

Abrewa Nana also utilized the occasion to announce her return to the music profession after a decade-long sabbatical.
