A Ghanaian teacher has found herself in hot water after deciding to use her money and the assistance of some of her social media friends to feed some students at her school.
As a result, the female teacher took to social media to ask for public help so that she could continue to feed the students on a regular basis.
Fortunately, the kind-hearted teacher got a lot of applause and appreciation from critical Ghanaians, and BBC Pidgin gave her some airtime interviews.
However, Abenah Serwaah Mankosa has been invited by the Ghana Education Service (GES) to justify her behavior and include the documents that grant her the authority to feed her students, according to sources including comedian Teacher Kwadwo.
As a result, some Ghanaians have taken to social media to condemn GES for sanctioning her.
Some thought their actions were hypocritical, especially because they didn’t give food to the children until she volunteered to do so out of the goodness of her heart.
