Ghanaian Millionaire, Cheddar shares a video of his tigers playing football
Freedom Jacob Ceasar, widely known as Cheddar, released a video of his iconic tigers having fun in his Ridge house.
The cubs sparked debate and became a national story as homeowners in the Wonder World Estates, Avenue Lincoln, near the British High Commission in Ridge, expressed concern over the presence of wild animals in their neighborhood.
A few days after the wildcats started the discussion, the cubs’ owner, a Ghanaian business entrepreneur, uploaded a video of the cubs playing football on his estate.
Nana Kwame Bediako, commonly known as Cheddar, shared the footage on his Instagram story. The video, which was published before the just-concluded Champions League finals, was titled “Get ready for the finals: Liverpool vs Real Madrid, PDO vs APC“.
Previously, the inhabitants stated that they were not happily sharing the estate with the carnivorous creatures and requested that they be relocated.
The Forestry Commission’s Wildlife Division, on the other hand, has stated that the business mogul’s two tigers pose no harm to the estate’s residents.
Defending the upbringing of the 7-month-old cubs, the Ghanaian millionaire stated that he purchased the wild animals for tourist purposes and that discussions with the Ghana Tourism Authority about where and how to maintain them were continuing.
He stated that his objective with the tigers was not to threaten the lives of the locals, but rather to bring value to Ghana’s tourism.
