Ghanaian man in the northern region makes history as he weds 4 women on the same day.
After appearing on social media, a poster for an Islamic wedding ceremony scheduled for three weeks from now elicited conflicting comments.
According to the wedding details, a groom from the Northern region of Ghana would make history by marrying four women on the same day.
The polygamous man, identified as N’yaaba Abudu Nkrumah Yiri Duu, will marry his women in a record-breaking ceremony on February 26.
Although polygamy (marrying more than one woman) is popular in Islamic tradition, most Muslim males rarely marry more than two wives at the same time.
Those who dare to go the additional mile are sometimes regarded as wealthy and well-off in society.
We can’t confirm Mr. Yiri Duu’s financial situation right now, but it appears he’s willing to bet it all on his four wives and the children they have yet to have as a result of their marriage.
Photos of the groom and his brides on a wedding invitation poster have already gone viral on the internet, and social media users have chimed in with their thoughts.
