Ghanaian lady narrates how she was nearly kidnapped after taking a taxi belonging to kidnappers.
A Ghanaian woman who has lived to tell the story of her kidnapping has described what happened in broad daylight in Accra.
Fladys Tawiah, a woman, shared her terrifying experience in the popular Facebook group Trotro Diaries, where she described how her life nearly ended in a flash.
Fladys revealed the incident happened near the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra while she was on her way to Teshie, where she lives.
According to her, she had planned to use one of these ride-hailing services but changed her mind when she noticed that all of the drivers who were closer to her were now finished with their trips.
It was at this point that she decided to take any taxi that came by and decided it would be better for her to take a taxi, only to discover later that she had landed herself in the hands of kidnappers.
Fladys claims that three men were in the car, including the driver, and that while they were driving, the man who sat in the back with her pushed her down and drove the car into the bush.
