Former British ambassador to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, has settled the debate over which country produces the best Jollof, claiming that no country produces Jollof better than Ghanaians.
In response to a question about one’s favorite Christmas food, Jon Benjamin stated that his is Jollof, and only Ghanaian Jollof, because no other country produces Jollof in the same way that Ghanaians do.
The debate over which country has the best Jollof has been going on for a while now, and everyone claims theirs is the best, but this tweet from Jon Benjamin settles it all because he has had the opportunity to visit other countries.
Jon Benjamin claims he doesn’t need to mention Ghana when talking about the best Jollof because he believes no other country produces Jollof at the same level as Ghana.
