Michael Blackson, a Ghanaian comedian living in America, has drawn attention to how privileged Ghana is with peace and security.
Blackson has recently made a ceremonial trip back to Ghana, where he grew up, and has noticed the level of safety he experiences there.
Michael recently claimed that Ghana is more tranquil and secure than the United States on an episode of the Drink Champs with NORE and DJ EFN.
‘‘In Ghana, let me tell you something, you will go out, go to the club, you will go home safe at night time, in America you might not make it back home after you go clubbing, but yeah Ghana is so peaceful and nothing happens to you, you will go out and make it safe, there is no violence, nobody is going to kill you at the club, no shooting, no nothing, nothing happens’’ he stated.
Regarding Meek Mill’s recent trip to Ghana, which caused a lot of controversy after he filmed a music video at the Jubilee House, Blackson said that while he has no idea how Meek Mill obtained the tape, the Jubilee House does not allow such a thing to occur.
“In Africa, our White Houses are a little bit different. I think what happened was he went in there and took some pictures and videos and later on used it for a music video. I don’t know how it happened but Ghana is a very strict country and you are not allowed to capture in the Jubilee house,’’ he said.
