When the gang directed their heavy weaponry towards the Bullion van, which was thought to be carrying large quantities of money, the entire street of James Town was busy.

Constable Emmanuel Osei, the young police officer tasked to follow the vehicle to its secure place, was their first target. They assassinated him on the spot, and two more were also killed.

The armed bandits raced to an unknown place to enjoy their plunder after stealing the money that was their main goal.

In the heat of the moment, some Ghanaians demanded that the two female tellers onboard the car be investigated by the police. They were suspected of sending a text message to the armed robbers as a tip-off. It is still uncertain if the police listened to and interviewed members of the public.

The armed robbers believed no one would ever be able to track them down until the cops used all of their resources to ensure they were apprehended.

According to reports, four individuals have finally been apprehended thanks to the police’s tireless efforts. Following the robbery of the bullion van in Accra, they traveled to Kyebi in Ghana’s Eastern Region.

Their foresight told them that once they moved to Kyebi, the police would be unable to track them. However, the police are everywhere, and their intellect is superior.

Ebenezer Gyimah, also known as Peace, and Collins Addae, also known as Kyekye from Akyim Swedru, are among the suspects who have been detained. These are the two Ghanaians suspected of involvement in the robbery. Musah Kamara and Suleman Keta, popularly known as sixty-nine, are two Guinean brothers suspected of masterminding the theft.

However, odd events are coming from the gang. Musah Kamara and his brother are Guineans who have made a livelihood in Ghana. They chose to carry lethal weapons and conduct terrible crimes among the various occupations available in Ghana. They have terrorized locals in the Kyebi region on many occasions and have been on the police wanted list for many years.

Only God knows how many people they have murdered or injured unwittingly as a result of their criminal acts. Their Ghanaian colleagues are also ‘wicked’ by watching as Guinea nationals seize control of them in order to disrupt other Ghanaians. They have been apprehended now. We hope that the police will prosecute them as soon as possible so that they can be removed from society.
