Former Black Stars Player Christian Gyan D!es At The Age Of 43.
Christian Gyan, a former Ghanaian footballer, has gone passed away.
Announcing the death of the retired player, his Feyenoord teammate Bonaventure Kalou posted a message on Instagram on Wednesday, December 29, 2022, announcing his death.
Christian Gyan died with cancer following a four-year battle with the disease.
The former Ghanaian international established his reputation in the Netherlands, where he played for Feyenoord from 1997 to 2007, after being signed by the club from Tema Gapoha.
He won the Dutch Eredivisie, the Johan Cruijff Shield, and the UEFA Cup with Feyenoord during his time there.
Immediately upon his passing, former Feyenoord footballer, Robin Van Persie paid homage to him via social media.
The renowned Dutch footballer shared images of Christian Gyan on his social media accounts and commented the following:
“A beautiful soul is never forgotten. You were there for me in the early days of my career and supported me like a big brother. I will forever be thankful for those memories. Rest in peace Christian ”
