The grandmother of a four-year-old boy (name withheld) evicted him from his house owing to a lack of means to care for him.
The information that is available indicates that the youngster has been wandering the streets of Kyebi Amanfrom in the Eastern Region despite the risks involved.
The juvenile was found dozing off in front of a nearby business, according to Agya Dan, who provided a report from the scene.
Some have questioned why this kid was left to fend for himself when it is also said that he is begging for food nearby.
According to the inquiry, the mother of the kid left him in the care of his father, who subsequently left the boy in the care of his [Father’s] sister, stating he was going to look for work and never returned.
He said that the child’s father had left him three years earlier and had never come back.
He was later given to his grandma to care for, but she and her husband are both tired of him and have asked him to leave.
Additionally, it is said that when he was living with them, they fed the child leftovers.
Police were notified of the incident, and they allegedly donated GHC50 to buy the boy’s medication because he was ill.
They also issued a warning to the caregivers to stop abusing him.
