Ali, a Ghanaian model and former competitor on the Date Rush reality program, has been a delightfully amusing figure since garnering the show’s majority of admirers but it appears things have gone south for the model.
During an interview with Sammy Kay Media, Mohammed Ali pleaded for the support of Ghanaians since his celebrity had left him destitute.
He admitted to the blogger that he was bankrupt and temporarily homeless at the time of their conversation. He revealed that he is currently living at a friend’s house and is unemployed.
He went on to say that celebrity was killing him. Since being on Date Rush, he’s realized that popularity has done him no good.
According to Ali, he is unable to venture outdoors since many people believe he is wealthy and hence approach him for money whenever they see him.
