Fake fire officer caught and beaten for stealing palm oil

In Abeadze Towoboase in the Central Region, a young man believed to be in his twenties who was wearing the uniform of the Fire Service was apprehended and then beaten to a pulp for stealing palm oil.

The culprit was apprehended in the early morning hours of Wednesday, March 15, 2023, with over ten gallons of palm oil and palm kernel that had been taken from a palm oil factory.

It is thought that the suspect is a fake member of the Fire Service since he was unable to present his identification card and did not indicate at which fire station he works when he was questioned.

The locals kept a close eye on him while he stole the palm oil, but they were successful in catching him just as he was ready to flee the area.

After that, he was severely beaten while he begged for pardon throughout the ordeal.

After that, the suspect, who was unknown to everyone in the neighborhood, was taken to the Mankessim Divisional Police Station in Jedu so that an investigation could be conducted there.
