Ex-president Mahama and his wife Lordina build and Donate a maternity and children’s ward to celebrate 30 years of marriage.
On the occasion of their 30th wedding anniversary, former President John Dramani Mahama and his wife, former First Lady Lordina Mahama, are commemorating their marriage.
The two individuals have provided the Bole District Hospital with a maternity and children’s wing that contains 45 beds as part of the events planned to commemorate the occasion.
While this is going on, Mahama has been quoted as saying that Lordina is the ideal spouse for him since she brings out his best qualities.
The Lordina Foundation Maternity and Children’s Ward is 865 square meters in size and has a total of 45 beds, 10 baby cots, 5 weighing scales that also measure height, a Mother and Child Care Centre, a Delivery Room with two delivery beds, and a Recovery Ward.
Asserting that “this is our heartfelt contribution to the lovely people of this community,” Mrs. Mahama expresses her confidence that the newly constructed children’s and maternity wards will assist in delivering the highest possible standard of medical care to the residents of Bole and the surrounding areas.
In addition to that, she was really complimentary about her husband. “I would like to express my gratitude to my loving husband, President John Dramani Mahama, for his contribution to the building of this facility,” she said.
