Burna Boy, a Grammy Award-winning Nigerian Afrobeat singer, has explained why his country appears to be opposed to marijuana legalization.
Burna Boy explained why marijuana is illegal in Nigeria, claiming that most individuals who use it refuse to admit it since they are all hypocrites.
In an interview with Home Grown Radio in Los Angeles, the self-proclaimed African Giant stated that “everybody” in Nigeria consumes cannabis but denies it owing to the country’s high hypocrisy.
“It isn’t a zero-tolerance policy.” Everyone seems to be doing it, but no one wants to be the one who is seen doing it. There’s a lot of hypocrisy out there. “Everyone is a weed smoker.”
“It’s like some obnoxious jerk.” You’ve heard the old nonsense about it frying your brains.
They try to make it appear like smoking marijuana will make you insane. Everyone is at ease right now, everyone is doing it, and everyone is aware of it. It’s just a subject that no one wants to discuss. No one wants to discuss it; everyone is happy with it. Burna Boy confirmed, “No one wants to make it a thing.”
