Empire FM Journalist, Shonda Ayorkor Laid in State as Bola Ray and Others Mourn with Family (Photos)
Shonda Naa Ayorkor, a Ghanaian media personality, was laid to rest after an emotional church service attended by loved ones and media personalities.
The late Ayorkor worked for Takoradi-based Empire 102.7 FM before her death, which was announced on social media on Monday, May 30, 2022.
The cause of her death was not immediately disclosed, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital, according to sources.
Several media personalities, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of media conglomerate EIB Network Group and Empire Entertainment, Nathan Kwabena Anokye Adisi, also known as Bola Ray, attended the funeral to express condolences to the family of his late employee.
Some EIB and Empire employees and loved ones also attended the funeral to pay their respects to their late colleagues.
The late Shonda Naa Ayorkor left behind the April 02 Foundation, a non-profit organization that accepted donations and assisted the most vulnerable members of society.
