Dr. Likee, a popular comedian and content creator from Ghana, has issued a statement apologizing for a recent altercation that occurred between him and his team and the security personnel at Achimota Mall.
The incident occurred after they were denied permission to film there. Dr. Likee expressed regret for the incident and apologized to the mall’s administration and supporters. He also pointed out that while Achimota Mall allows visitors to take pictures and film, they were not allowed to make a motion picture there.
In his defense, he cited the example of American rapper Meek Mill, who was not even allowed to smoke or take pictures at President Akufo-Addo’s office during his visit to Ghana for the Afrochella Concert.
