Xandy Kamel, an actress, and TV personality has spoken out about why she has not been seen on the big screen in a while.
Dr. Kwaku Oteng, CEO of the Angel Broadcasting Network, allegedly fired Kamel, the host of a celebrity gossip show dubbed ‘Yenom Tea,’ and her husband, a Sports Journalist and Head of Sports at Angel TV (ABN).
This came after Xandy Kamel used social media to call out her husband for having an affair with his ex-girlfriend, causing their marriage to make headlines.
When contacted by GHPage for comment, she, on the other hand, dismissed the reports.
She then flew to Dubai for a vacation to get away from it all. Xandy has revealed her mission in the UAE and why she has not been on TV in over a month since her return.
Xandy previously stated that the reports about her firing were false in an exclusive phone interview with GHPage.
“Yenom Tea” host Xandy has stated that she is taking a leave of absence and that she will be returning to the show soon to resume her duties as host.
Because of her marital difficulties, she explained that her leave coincided with her marital difficulties, and she was therefore not on leave.
During the phone-in interview, the actress also stated that Dr Kwaku Oteng had no involvement in her leave, refuting claims that the CEO had fired her.
