“Don’t stay in a hotel that doesn’t have condoms available” – Abeiku Santana advises men
Abeiku Santana, an award-winning broadcaster, has advised Ghanaian celebrities to avoid staying in hotels that do not give condoms.
Speaking on his show, he stated that one item that Ghanaians find difficult to obtain is condoms, and as such, it would be in everyone’s best interest to obtain some for oneself.
According to him, celebrities in the country have unintended sexual encounters with persons they meet while traveling to events and programs outside the country.
He went on to say that it is in the best interests of hotel operators to provide condoms to their guests rather than just soap and towels.
“I am pleading with hotels in Ghana that, in addition to supplying soap and towels to their guests, they should also provide condoms in the drawers of the hotel rooms,” he remarked on Okay FM.
The renowned broadcaster feels that this new initiative will aid in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS as well as the prevention of countless unplanned pregnancies.
He stated that people should be cautious and avoid any hotel that does not supply condoms when they check-in.
Let us not forget that, in addition to being a broadcaster, Abieku Santana is also a tourism ambassador in the country, so he may be speaking from experience.
