“Don’t sleep with movie producers for roles, sleep with them for iPhone rather”- Janet Brefo Yankson advises ladies
Young Ghanaian actress Janet Brefo Yankson, better known in the entertainment industry as Sweet Mimi, has issued a piece of advice to aspiring actresses, telling them that they should no longer accept movie roles in exchange for sex from movie directors because this practice is outdated and archaic.
In an interview with Ezra FM in Kumasi, the actress advised young actresses that they should rather sleep with big wings in the movie industry in exchange for iPhones or any other material stuffs than do it for mere movie roles, and she elaborated on her reasoning.
According to her, there is an abundance of opportunity for young actresses on social media platforms, opportunities that have the potential to make them famous, and there is no need for them to sleep with movie directors in order to get roles because these opportunities already exist.
“An iPhone can make you a star but one role in a movie can’t make you a star. Because after the director has used you in a movie, that is the end; he is not going to cast you in another movie,” she added.
