The ‘Bintu’ hitmaker has been on a rage since reports of Nigerian artist, Asake, packing the 02 Arena in London surfaced. Shatta Wale has taken advantage of this chance to criticize the entertainment sector in which he gained his reputation and fortune.
In response to a tweet from one of his admirers, he said, “Some artist from Ghana go Dey perform for a 50-capacity pub in the USA shey talk say hello dey go on tour… Ghana.”
Shatta Wale then retweeted it, writing, “Don’t mind that guy; he’s a villager.”
This has prompted a discussion on the defunct Bird app, with users wondering who “that guy” is. Is it Sarkodie or Stonebwoy who is now on tour in the United States?
