Diana Asamoah: “I now wear make-ups because I’ve learnt it’s not a sin against God”
Gospel singer cum Evangelist, Diana Asamoah has of late resorted to the use of makeup – something she once frowned upon and it has got many tagging her a hypocrite.
It could be recalled the gospel sensation once took a sermon and preached that wearing make-ups is a sin and that those who wear it will not make it to heaven. Well, Diana Asamoah has retracted her preaching after she was caught up in the same act.
According to the “Akoko Abon” singer who was speaking in an interview on Joy News’ AM show on why she made a U-turn, She has grown in God and has come to the realization that makeups is not a sin against God.
“At first I thought make-up was a sin and I wouldn’t make it to heaven but I have discovered a lot through prayers and the bible and also the ex-chairman of Pentecost, Apostle Opoku Onyina brought clarity on that,” She is reported to have told the host, Mamavi Owusu.
Explaining further on her new lifestyle, Diana Asamoah quoted 1 Corinthians 13:11 which read: “When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned like a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.”
