Dede Ayew, the captain of the Black Stars, and other important members of the Ghana national team have been dragged before parliament to face questions about the country’s poor performance at the AFCON in Cameroon.
Saddick Adams aka Sports Obama, a Ghanaian journalist, revealed this on Twitter.
he wrote: “The Parliament of Ghana has set 17th, 18th and 23rd February 2021 to commence formal investigations into the “abysmal performance of the Black Stars and their disappointing exit from Afcon 2021”.
Invitations to assist in the investigations have been sent to key stakeholders.
“Captain Andrew Ayew will testify before the inquiry team to answer questions about Ghana’s terrible Afcon 2021 performance,” said Johnson Kwaku Adu, chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Youth Sports and Culture.
