Davido, the popular Nigerian Afrobeats artist, recently shared his secret to becoming the most followed artist in Africa.
In a viral video interview on social media, he attributed his success to being a very sociable and likable person, which helped increase his followers.
With 26.9 million followers on Instagram and 13.4 million on Twitter, Davido also admitted to investing quality time in social media to maintain his follower count.
He said: “Wizkid and Burna Boy are not as social as I am and don’t post frequently like me. I would have opted for stand-up comedy if I wasn’t making music because I’m a very funny being.”
The Unavailable artist revealed his passion for technology during his earlier years and took the initiative to create an Instagram account for his spouse, Chioma Rowland. He also made sure to remind her to regularly post on the platform.
