After breaking up for over a year, it has been reported that Nigerian singer David Adeleke, also known as Davido, and his fiancée Chioma Avril Rowland, also known as Chef Chi, have reconciled.
Since 2019, the pair had been planning a traditional wedding that would be kept a secret, and they had decided that the ceremony would take place in July of 2020. However, as a result of the widespread coronavirus outbreak, they have been forced to put their big day on hold.
Later on, the Afrobeats musician discussed his relationship with his third baby mother in an exclusive interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. During the course of the conversation, he disclosed that the highly anticipated wedding between the two will now take place in 2021.
It did not take long for the couple’s relationship to enter “troubled waters” after rumors of the singer’s “alleged infidelity” began to circulate.
According to a recent Instagram post by one Gidiboy, who identified himself as Davido and Chioma’s Personal Assistant, Davido and Chioma are reportedly back in each other’s arms now that they have patched things up and are now back.
This comes after reports that Davido and Chioma had previously broken up.
He posted a video on social media that showed Chioma and DMW’s CEO shopping together in a store, and in the caption he said just, “They are together,” without providing any other information.
Chioma was the recipient of Davido’s heartfelt declaration of love in the form of a song called “Assurance,” which he performed for her.
His song, which is dedicated to Chioma, received more than one million views in fewer than twenty-four hours and continues to break records.
