“Val’s day is about sẽẌ, go and date Tetteh Qurashie if you want chocolates, “- Lady advises colleagues. (video)
A woman on social media suggested that Valentine’s Day is all about s£x rather than chocolate sharing, as we have grown to expect.
Valentine’s Day, observed on February 14th each year, reminds us of the love we have for our close family, friends, husbands and wives, and lovers in general.
It is the time of year when we repay the love that we have received from our respective spouses, but over the years, Ghanaians have given it a different meaning by engaging in certain social vices in order to demonstrate love.
While it has become the norm for unmarried people to participate in premarital sex as a Valentine’s Day gesture, condoms are also becoming scarce in pharmacies across the country.
Ghana’s cocoa goods have now become the symbol of Valentine’s Day in Ghana, thanks to Kufuor’s introduction of the holiday in an effort to increase the consumption of Ghana’s cocoa goods.
Making her feelings on Valentine’s Day known, she advised ladies who want to receive chocolate to date the late Tetteh Qurashie, who was the one who brought cocoa to Ghana.
