Coded of 4×4 advises young artists to invest their money in small businesses
Coded, one of the famed hip-hop trio 4×4, has expressed remorse over not investing the steady stream of cash he received during the height of his success.
The musician was asked for advice in a video that was uploaded to the Hitz FM YouTube page on March 29, 2023.
“I’d beg them to invest their money into some business,” he passionately answered slapping his left palm with the back of his right hand.
“They should start up some cool, slow business on the side,” he stressed.
“I’d really beg them because they’re young and when they start the business so young, by the time they get to 35 to 40, that business [would] be huge.
He encouraged young music acts to “invest in the most little thing,” for instance, give it time, and “take your mind off it.”
He suggested that the stated small business be assigned to reliable and capable individuals—”the appropriate directors,” who would be “managing and moving everything for you,” the artist—so that they may be able to focus on their music.
He said, “I’m stating this stuff from a good experience,”.
You can even open a small pub,” he said. “There are millions of ideas that you can push your money [into] that you can make your family or somebody manage for you.”
Coded claimed that he is “jealous and envious” of young guys who are “doing business” in their 20s because “their businesses would be extremely enormous” by the time they are 30.
He pleaded with aspiring musicians to invest during their prime and not become sidetracked by the delights of getting the greatest clothes, fame, “the girls to tap,” and other things.
He proposed starting a business in the restaurant and lodging sectors.
