Mayomi Ogedengbe (a pastor from Irese, a town in Akure, Nigeria) was abducted on Monday at his church.
The pastor was taken when the kidnappers attacked the church in a black gyre sports car – according to one of the suspects.
In a video, the aforementioned suspects detailed on camera how a church member instructed them to kidnap the pastor and how they were successful in focusing their efforts on the pastor’s family in order to extort money.
Meanwhile, Bolaji Sausage (the state commissioner of police) has ordered for the pastor’s immediate rescue to be carried out by police as confirmed by Tee-Leo Ikoro( a police spokesperson) to Channel and media men.
