Reports reaching us is that a church with a 3-story building that belongs to the Church of Promise has collapsed at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern Region, trapping some worshippers.
from an eyewitness, 60 people have been trapped under the collapsed church which happened at Akyem Batabi.
according to reports, the church of Promise happens to be owned by Prophet Nakoa Isaac and has been uncompleted for the past 28 years.
a congregant speaking to Adom News said they came to fast and pray for the founder of the Church since they heard that he wasn’t well.
when asked whether Prophet Nakoa Isaac, the founder of the church was also in the church when the incident happened, the congregant said he was in his house which is near the church.
an eyewitness said;
“We heard that snake had invaded the premises so we called some of the men around to chase it out when all of a sudden we saw the building collapse,”

from Adom News reporters though people are still trapped in the building, some were able to escape with various degrees of injuries.
meanwhile, the Ghana Fire Service was at the scene to help victims who were trapped
