Countryman Songo has criticized head coach Chris Hughton as being stupid in light of the Black Stars’ shabby performance against Angola.
The obnoxious sports journalist claimed that the former Brighton manager had nothing new to offer Ghana, which he claimed was clear from the team’s performance.
Countryman Songo also questioned the coach’s tactics on the day, which he claimed were quite dull and stale, and downplayed the coach’s expertise.
Countryman Songo, who was ranting on social media and during his show Fire for Fire, not only criticized Chris Hughton but also called the victory, which came as a result of a contentious goal, “lucky.”
“Such an insipid performance. Are you guys really happy with what you saw? Sub-standard performance plus a very scrappy and controversial goal. Trust me, Chris Hughton has nothing new to offer,” he tweeted.
Antoine Semenyo, a substitute, scored the game-winning goal for Ghana in the closing seconds of the match against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium..
