Many former professional football players, especially in our region, struggle financially after hanging up their cleats for a variety of reasons. Some point the finger at the players’ extravagant lives, while others say they failed to plan for life after football or make the correct investments.

1. Asamoah Gyan owns the water brand, Paradise Pac:
Gyan’s companies have expanded with the inclusion of Paradise Pack water. Since its inception in 2017, the company has made significant progress.
In 2018, the brand was named Asante Kotoko’s official water. Many people have come to love the football legend’s water brand.
2. Baby Jet Plaza
He also owns Baby Jet Plaza in Accra’s East Legon neighborhood. The Baby Jet Plaza is home to a variety of businesses and shops.
Cal Bank, HFC Bank, and GCB Bank are all located on the same plaza.
3. Asa Band
Gyan, a footballer who appreciates music, has also invested in the Asa Band, a musical group.
The band made their debut in December 2015 and has since performed at renowned events. Fly Away is the group’s debut album.
4. Mama Vits Noodles and Rice
Aside from his outstanding football career, the Black Stars striker imports food products such as rice and noodles.
Asamoah Gyan launched Mama Vits noodles and rice in late 2012, and both items have made a name for themselves in the Ghanaian market.
5. Baby Jet Airline
Asamoah Gyan has recently become the proud owner of a Ghanaian airline license. The airline, which will be called “Baby Jet Airline,” has not yet begun service, though.
When it ultimately launches, the airline is intended to fly both domestically and globally.
6.Boxing Promotion
Asamoah Gyan started investing in sports with the creation of Baby Jet Boxing Promotions after dabbling in other fields.
The first major boxing star to sign with Baby Jet Management and Boxing Promotions was Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe, a former IBO Lightweight champion.
In 2021, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe’s contract was canceled by Baby Jet Management and Boxing Promotions.
7. Real Estate
Asamoah Gyan has made significant financial interests in the real estate sector of Ghana’s economy.
The striker owns a number of enormous buildings across the nation, many of which he rents out to serve as places of business, residences, and so on.
8. Transportation Business
One of Gyan’s most well-known endeavors is his entry into the transportation industry, and he has gained a lot of notoriety for this.
He operates approximately twenty coaches (buses) that connect Accra, Kumasi, and the countries that are nearby.
9. Hostel management
