Check Out Jackie Appiah’s Hilarious comment on LGBTQI+ (Video)

Following the arrival of US Vice President Kamala Harris, the discussion about LGBTQI+ legislation has been the talk of the town in Ghana.

The abbreviation LGBT means homosexual, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual. The plus represents a new and growing knowledge of various aspects of the very varied gender and sexual orientations.

Ghana’s senate has begun debating a measure that would criminalize homosexuality and make it a felony to advocate.

Human rights advocates have expressed concern about intentions to pursue members of the LGBT community in a nation already besieged by prejudice.

Although homosexual intercourse is prohibited in 22 African nations, no one has ever been officially punished under this rule.

The new law is expected to make the persecution of LGBTQI+ persons and their supporters commonplace.

Several high-profile celebrities and government leaders have chimed in with their opposing views on LGBTQI+ and associated issues.

Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah, who appeared on United Television Saturday 1st April 2023 on the United ShowBiz Show, did not respond to a question about the current delicate issue.

The actress implored the presenter to let her go because she has no interest in sharing her honest views on the topic, a wise move to avoid taunts and blowback that could damage her brand.
