The NPP Chairman of Ashanti Region, Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi got people at the studios of his radio station stunned when he unexpectedly pulled out some gold bars.
The gold bar was brought to the studios to give a virtual explanation of the Agyapa deal to critics alongside flaunting his gold wealth as he cautiously placing the bars- six of them- one after the other on the studio desk.
At that magical moment, all that the panel members and the host of the program could do was to look on in utter disbelief as Chairman Wontumi chanted, “this is solid money, people say I am rich but my wealth is measured in gold, not in physical cash.”

Chairman Wontumi as we know was once a small scale miner whose but the state confiscated his excavators and burnt them under the John Mahama regime. well, he is yet to be paid his compensation.
