The Ghana Police Service is on many Ghanaians’ minds today as a result of the alleged involvement of four officers in a series of bullion van robberies in Accra, which resulted in the untimely death of one officer in Jamestown (Adademkpo) in June 2021.
According to recent social media reports, the armed robber police officer who allegedly shot and killed his own colleague on escort duty during the bullion van robbery in James Town, Accra, a few months ago, was fired from the school in 2014.
Reindorf Gyimah, popularly known as Pablo, is the officer who brings disgrace upon himself and the police force as a whole. He has a criminal record dating back to school, which led to his dismissal in 2014.

Constable Reindorf Gyimah, the suspected armed robber of a bullion van who is said to have killed his colleague in the process, was expelled from Sunyani Senior High School in 2014 for being a “notorious burglar.”
My investigations also reveal that the suspect attended Wenchi Senior High rather than Sunyani Senior High and was known as Yaa Pono. After being fired in 2014, he enrolled at Hope SHS in Techiman, but due to his stubbornness, he was deboarded from HOPE SHS for entering the ladies dormitory. According to his coworkers, he was a tyrant in high school.
Robbery appears to have been in his blood since childhood.
