To ensure that everything goes smoothly on the big day, couples must put in a lot of planning, money, and worry.
However, one bride’s fantasy turned into a nightmare when she performed her first dance with her spouse.
Madalyn Wise, from Australia, posted a video of herself dancing with her spouse.
“What we discovered beneath my dress a few minutes after our first dance…” said an overlay text.
The video then moves to a close-up of her bloodsplattered garment.
Madalyn looked to be bleeding from her leg, as tissue sheets were visible above her knee in the snap.
“It was a leech!” said her. “Isn’t there usually something that goes wrong during your wedding?”
She subsequently claimed that she discovered two additional leeches, one beneath her foot and one at the back of her knee and that she thought they had been draining her blood for three hours.
“It was there from the photo shoot, which we did have to go into some really long sludgy grass to get some nice photos and I think this is where I think the leeches came into the pictures,” she said.
I think I’d been dancing with my friends for one or two songs when my mother-in-law grabs me and says, ‘Come with me.’
“She takes me away from the dance floor and she’s walking me into the dressing room and we get in there and I’m like ‘what is happening?’
“We’re in there and she’s just lifting up my dress… she was like ‘there’s blood.”
“My mind instantly went to… I got that [my period] but then she said, ‘it’s a leech.'”
