We are left with barely 14 days to the 2020 general elections but Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings who is the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDP) has pulled out of the candidates.
According to reports reaching us, the former first lady who is now a widow has made her decision and has gone forward to informed the electoral commission.
Though there hasn’t yet been an official statement released from Nana Konadu on why she made this sudden consideration, we are made to believe it is linked to the recent demise of her husband, ex-President Jerry John Rawlings.
Meanwhile, the National Democratic Party is scheduled to address a press conference later today.
