Sandra Adu, also known as Borga Sylvia, said she was surprised to read stories online where bloggers were disseminating the video and articles during an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show.
She believed that kissing is a customary greeting for friends and close associates, so the uproar that followed her kiss to McBrown was inappropriate.
“I gave her a hug. It’s like meeting your friend, giving her a hug and a peck; that’s what happened,” said Borga Sylvia. “In this industry, you hear stuff about you and you know it’s untrue so I wasn’t surprised.”
Borga Sylvia described how her sister, Cynthia Amankwa Gyamfi, suffered from illness for a number of years before passing away.
“It’s been three years since my mother died. My sister was not sick during my mother’s funeral,” Borga Sylvia said. “She became sick for less than a month and died.”
