Beautiful lady who was pronounced dead by doctors woke up a few minutes before she was sent to the mortuary
Zuweira, an Accra-based cosmetics artist who was pronounced dead at the Ridge Hospital on Thursday, March 24, woke up a few moments after the pronouncement.
Zuweira was confirmed dead by physicians on Thursday, and in accordance with Islamic norms, she was readied for burial on Friday, according to her aunt, Rabu.
On Friday, the cemetery officials and all arrangements for her burial and prayers were completed, only for the physicians to announce that she had “resurrected.”
The physicians said they were 100 percent convinced there was no life in her at the time they pronounced her dead and had double-checked before alerting her family.
She came back to life later that day, much to the surprise of the nurses who processed her for the Mortuary and the doctors who handled her case.
Before the news reached them, the family had been planning to go to the Mortuary and retrieve her remains for burial.
“Wonderful God. My Niece passed away just a few days ago. We were only waiting for the body to be laid to rest. The cemetery has made the necessary arrangements. Doctors have just called to say that she is awake. What an amazing God we serve. I’m in tears right now. “Thank you, God,” we say. Rabi Dan Alpha Sharubutu, her aunt, wrote on Facebook.
