Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, a young and talented South African doctor, has been detained for allegedly stealing the remains of three deceased people.
Online stories that have subsequently garnered a ton of interactions and comments state that the doctor, who is renowned for living a luxurious lifestyle, was detained after successfully removing the remains from the mortuary.
Dr. Nandioha allegedly informed the mortuary guards that the remains belonged to her husband, father, and brother; as a result, they apparently let her free leave without realizing that she had stolen the bodies.
One of the dead was discovered in a river just one week after being removed from the morgue under the pretense that it was her family.
Police investigations revealed that Dr. Nandioha had requested $83,000 for each body from an insurance provider.
Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is now in police custody and would be subject to the full force of the law if proven guilty of the accusations made against her.
