Babies are bought from nurses for GHC50k and killed for rituals at galamsey sites- ex-miner.
A Ghanaian man who was previously involved in illegal gold mining, commonly known as galamsey, in Obuasi has come forward with a disturbing account of the desperate measures taken to make ends meet. Galamsey refers to the illegal small-scale gold mining that takes place in Ghana.
In an interview with Okatakyie Afrifa on Angel FM, the former galamsey miner shared his harrowing experience, shedding light on the sinister activities that occur in the pursuit of gold. He revealed that human sacrifices are made in exchange for successful mining expeditions beneath the pits. Shockingly, he claimed that the leaders of these illegal operations enlist the help of nurses in various hospitals, offering them substantial sums of money to provide them with newborn babies for ritual purposes.
According to the anonymous man, these transactions involve exorbitant fees, with amounts as high as GHc50,000 being paid for stolen babies. These innocent infants are subsequently killed, and their blood is used as sacrifices to ensure favorable outcomes in the gold mining activities.
The interview has sparked outrage among Ghanaians, who are utterly appalled by the revelations. Many have called on law enforcement agencies to thoroughly investigate the claims made by the unidentified man.
