Following the video of Kwesi Ackon, the God-fearing cab driver who returned the Ghc8,400 to a fishmonger at Accra’s Mallam Atta market after finding it in his car, famed Ghanaian footballer Asamoah Gyan expressed interest in meeting the man.
Asamoah Gyan finally got the chance today, after making the online appeal yesterday, to reward Kwesi financially for his honesty.

Asamoah Gyan chose to give the cab driver Ghc10,000 in an internet video to join the long list of humanitarian people who have reached out to him.
While speaking on Okay FM about the money due to be donated to Kwesi Ackon, Kekeli Akosua claimed that she was making the donation on behalf of the Asamoah Gyan Foundation and that the ex-footballer was moved by the cab driver’s integrity and decided to gift him that amount.
