A woman on Twitter suggested that men set aside at least 20% of their monthly wages for their girlfriends.
That sum, she believes, will be utilized for weekly dates and small monthly gifts.
Her remark came after a man asked for advice on how much money to save away each month for a girlfriend.
“It depends on his income,” she says, “but I’d say roughly 20% of his profits.” If he earns £5,000 a month, £1.5k should provide for weekly dates and a small monthly gift.”
