Akufo-Addo Holds A Plush Dinner For Kamala Harris: Kwame Despite, Asamoah Gyan, Ofori Sarpong, and Other Rich People Attend

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo held a state luncheon to honor US Vice President Kamala Harris.

On March 26, 2023, the US Vice President landed in Ghana for a three-day official visit. Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia greeted her in a short ritual at Kotoka International Airport.

President Akufo-Addo hosted a luncheon for her and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, as part of her visit.

The state banquet drew together some of Ghana’s most well-known figures from commerce, politics, athletics, and culture.

Osei Kwame Despite, Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Asamoah Gyan, and Zoomlion CEO Joseph Siaw Agyapong were among the prominent attendees.

Church of Pentecost Chairman Apostle Eric Nyamekye, Electoral Commission Chairperson Jean Mensa, and former Jomoro MP Samia Nkrumah was also among those present.

Amakye Dede, Wiyaala, and Efya, as well as other music artists, were present to perform on the night.
