Ghanaian actress and social media personality Akuapem Poloo, real name Rosemond Alade Brown, was surprised on her birthday.
Poloo, who was born on June 1, 1989, celebrated her 33rd birthday on Wednesday. Her birthday coincided with a trip to Nigeria.
But it didn’t stop her from celebrating, as she was surprised by her guests in the early hours at her Abuja hotel.
In a video she published on her Instagram page, a saxophonist is seen entering Poloo’s room while playing the “happy birthday” melody.
Another person who followed the saxophonist drew a wheeled cart with two presents, a hamper, and a birthday cake.
Poloo was ecstatic when she saw the surprise squad and began yelling before leaping onto the floor to dance her heart out.
The actress said in the video that the surprise was planned by a single person.
I’m in tears. Omg God you did it as I wanted. OMG to the great gentleman who made this day a beautiful one for me. I say God bless you, Sir. I’m even speechless. my birthday in Abuja. WOW happy birthday to me (GODS PLAN),” she said.
