Serwaa Amihere, a GhOne TV news anchor, has fiercely defended suspected scammer Nana Agradaa as Ghanaians accuse her of being a fraudster.

Serwaa claims Agradaa has done nothing wrong and that if she is prosecuted, many other pastors deserve to be prosecuted as well.

Amihere is adamantly defending Agradaa after she got into legal trouble (again).

She is accused of defrauding some church members by taking money from them, doubling or tripling it, and then fleeing with the money.

Angry church members stormed the premises on Saturday in search of their funds, and police arrested Agradaa on Sunday.

However, based on what she has seen so far, Amihere believes Agradaa has not defrauded anyone.

She took to Twitter and wrote: “If Agradaa suffers prosecution, then many, many, many pastors, religious folks in Ghana must also be prosecuted. People agree to give their money to others to chop tax free in this country every 7 days or even less.

“I wasn’t at Agradaa’s church but is there a video of Agradaa ever promising to double anyone’s money ? I want to see it,” Amihere continued.

If Agradaa suffers prosecution, then many, many, many pastors, religious folks in Ghana must also be prosecuted.

Amihere demanded proof of Agradaa asking people to bring money to be doubled as her followers attacked her for defending the scammer.

“I want to see a video of her saying she’ll double the money.,” Amihere said. “In fact she complained that they don’t want to give so when they see someone getting a big amount they shouldn’t be surprised.”

Meanwhile, Agradaa is handling Serwaa Amihere’s defense, claiming that she only shared money in church and never asked anyone to bring money to be doubled.

She went on to say that whatever money others gave her was offertory money that they had paid!
